A seminar titled “China Today-Business Opportunities and Challenges” opened today in Portland, Oregon. The twin city seminar is sponsored by Garvey Schubert Barer (GSB) law firm, a full-service business law firm with more than 120 lawyers and office in Beijing, China.
Craig Allen, Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs of the United States Embassy in Beijing and Hank T. Wang, GSB Beijing Office addressed more than 30 business executives on Sino-US trade and legal environment during the Portland seminar.
Jin Lan, Founder of Octaxias Company, L.L.C. addressed issues of “Supply Chain Management†and best practices employed by multinational companies in China. The best supply chain model illustrated by Octaxias during the seminar intends to offer advice on how to optimize the extended supply chain.
On March 21, 2006 at 4:00pm, the seminar will convene again in Seattle, Washington. Octaxias President Jin Lan will address the same topics to members of the Washington State China Relations Council.
