Octaxias Company and UTStarcom Sponsor 4th Sustainable Development Seminar in Portland, Oregon for Senior Chinese Officials
Portland, Oregon-The 4th Oregon Sustainable Development Seminar was held between August 17 and 18th, 2007 in Portland, Oregon. Vice Minister of Construction Qi Ji led more than 12 mayors from all over the China attended the seminar. They were warmly welcomed by Allen Alee, Deputy Chief of Staff of Oregon Governor’s Office; Bill Wyatt, Executive Director of Port of Portland and other state officials.
Octaxias first facilitated Sustainable Development Seminar in Oregon for senior Chinese officials with UTstarcom in 2003. In the last 4 years, more than a dozen of ministers and more than 3 dozen of mayors have come to Oregon for good practice on sustainable development. The seminar impact on future Chinese leadership is both far reaching and significant.
